Keeping the Dream Alive

I set a goal for myself to have my yoga teacher training coursework completed by the end of May and sadly it's not going to happen. I know there is no crucial reason to have this deadline set, but I still feel as though I failed. Too many things are getting in the way and I need to focus and remain positive. I found this quote motivating for me so I wanted to share.

"Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe." - Gail Devers

Sale Items

Perhaps a sale on tank tops will bring the hot summer weather even faster. Sorry if the folks down South are cursing me for that. I'm just personally ready for the heat and look forward to it. So for the month of May, the black ribbed tanks are on sale for $14.99 (reg. price $19.99).

New Product Preview (Part II)

The good news is that our new YogaChick tiles are just about done. The bad news is that they are not yet in the shop. So far the response to them has been great. They sure do seem to bring a smile to the faces of anybody that sees them. The wall plaques are approximately 7" x 5" and feature three hand painted chick tiles. The tile cutting, pottery painting, and kiln firing process seems to be working out pretty good so more ceramic YogaDudes products should be coming down the pike.

YogaChick tiles wall plaque coming soon.

We also have some new decals making their debut. These colorful stickers feature three poses and measure 5" x 2". They cost $.75/each and can be found in the shop here.

New decals in shop now!

Build a Yoga Sequence

In my quest to build my first one hour class, I've been hunting the web looking for some resources. I found a great one on the Yoga Journal website. It allows you to browse through several different pictures of yoga poses and drag the ones you want into a special area that saves them, in order, and will also let you print the sequence out. The poses are divided into different sections: Advanced, Intermediate, All Levels, which makes it easier to find the appropriate asana. What a nice little tool for instructors or anyone looking to make a little routine cheat sheet. Thank you Yoga Journal.

Just click on the graphic above to be taken directly to the Build a Yoga Sequence page.
